ROCKLILY NATURAL HEALTH CARE Rocklily Natural Health Care began in 1998 when we designed our first clinic in the Rocklily office block in Mona Vale. We started with 3 practitioners (two fo which are still here) and no reception. As the clinic continued to grow we took over a second floor at that address but eventually found that we required larger premises and relocated our business to its present address in Warriewood. We have now grown to 11 practitioners supported by a 6 day reception and still growing. We cover most natural therapies with dedicated, caring and experienced practitioners. Our yoga/pilates room is airy, friendly and air conditioned and also doubles up for workshops associated with healthcare. AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE, Therapeutic relaxing massage that combines massage and essential oils used in aromatherapy. Sweet almond oil and essential oils are used, which are pure extracts from aromatic plants and have therapeutic effects on the body, calming symptoms of a disease and preventing it from returning. The massage movements are gentle, slowly and rhythmically allowing the body todeeply relax. Aromatherapy techniques use mostly soft tissue manipulation, which incorporates acupressure points, acupuncture meridians, lymphatic drainage and energy balancing. The flow of blood and lymph is stimulated to encourage a cleansing and harmonizing effect. MARIANA LOPES Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy ATMS member Mariana has been part of Rock Lily since 2011. Mariana has a degree in Physiotherapy from PUC Minas Catholic University, Brazil. While travelling in Australia and living for the past 4 years she discovered her passion for Alternative Therapies, leading her to study and complete a Diploma of Massage Therapies at Australian College of Sports & Fitness and NSW School of massage. Mariana’s background in Physiotherapy gives her the knowledge to provide the adequate treatment for each individuals needs. Her broad range of treatment programs combine different techniques including Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Stretches, helping her clients to restore and maintain a health body.
