Melvin started in the communications industry in 1983 working for then Telecom Australia (now Telstra) as a technical officer. In 6 years Melvin worked, learned and experienced various departments of Telecom Australia and gathered experience and knowledge in servicing customer equipment such as PABX and Key systems, Telephone exchange work, lines work, TV and Radio, sales and fault despatch.
