LifeTime Lumber began with the objective of creating a product that can serve as a sustainable replacement for Timber/Lumber in any nonstructural application where the elements may deteriorate the wood. LifeTime Lumber products contain over 60% fly ash, an inert waste product of burning coal to produce electricity. We developed our products using recycled content because we value environmental stewardship. The fly ash used in LifeTime Lumber is used “as is” as opposed to most wood/ plastic composites that must pulverize the wood and sort and melt plastics prior to manufacturing. LifeTime Lumber’s energy-efficient manufacturing process consumes several times less electricity and also uses minimal amounts of water compared to other products. Additionally, our facility releases no harmful emissions into the environment.
